Ayşe Nur Gençalp is an advanced filmmaker, screenwriter, director of photography with a passion for academia and teaching related to film and digital production. She completed her Bachelors of Science degree in General Business from Istanbul Technical University and State University of New York/New Paltz. She then worked as a financial analyst in Turkey for a year and a half, before she decided to study film. She attended Miami International University of Art and Design to get her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Film and Video Production. During her studies she worked as a Teaching Assistant in Miami International University. She also directed her own productions. Ayşe worked as a cinematographer, film consultant in non-profit organizations and was also instructor in New York Film Academy, in New York City.
She moved back to Istanbul on 2014, since then she has been developing interdisciplinary projects and working as a cinematographer, film consultant and education coordinator. Currently she works as an executive producer in a production company based in Istanbul, producing feature length movies, TV series and documentaries.
